Join Davis Reads 45 this summer! Students are challenged to read for 45 days, earning prizes every 5 days and a special end-of-summer event for those who complete the challenge. Pick up books during summer library hours. Families should check with their local elementary school for specific days and times. Regular summer reading helps prevent learning loss and supports continued academic growth. Contact your school or library to get started!

Davis School District has partnered with Waterford Upstart to provide our PreK children with an on-demand early learning program that gives you tools, coaching and resources so you can prepare your child for a bright future.

Program Benefits:

• Tailored software with fun and engaging lessons in reading, math and science that are done in just fifteen minutes a day
• Personalized family coaching and easy-to-use resources that support the work you’re already doing with your child
• A computer and internet access for those who qualify

The kids went wild at the end-of-year assembly when teachers and administrators broke out the “Chicken Dance!” 🐔🎉 The gym was filled with laughter, cheering, and so much excitement as students watched their teachers join in the fun. It was a great way to celebrate an amazing school year together and create memories our students will never forget. Oak Hills knows how to work hard, celebrate big, and have fun together! 🦅

Today we celebrated our amazing students at the Oak Hills Elementary Awards Assembly! 🎉 Two students from each class received the Top Eagle Award for their hard work, leadership, and positive example. We also recognized students for outstanding attendance, along with honoring our Student Council and Hope Squad members for their service and leadership throughout the year. Oak Hills continues the tradition of pursuing excellence and strong academic achievement. We are so proud of all our students and the effort they put into learning, growing, and supporting one another. Congratulations to all of our award recipients! 🦅

Field day was one adventure to the next! Cotton candy, slushies, popcorn and tons of fun stations for the kids to enjoy. Thank you to our amazing PTA!

Celebrating the Class of 2026! 🎓 Former students returned to Oak Hills Elementary to walk the halls in their caps and gowns. Our current students lined the hallways cheering them on and admiring their accomplishments. What a special tradition to inspire future graduates and celebrate how far these students have come! 💙💛

Bringing the spirit of a Aloha to Ms. Biddulph’s 2nd grade! 🌺 Students enjoyed luau dancing, creative art projects, and learning about Hawaiian culture and traditions. Hands-on learning, music, and fun made for an unforgettable day of exploration and excitement! 🌴🌞

Step back in time with “I Survived Pioneer Time!” Ms. Martinez’s 4th graders amazed audiences with an original opera they wrote and choreographed themselves as part of their Utah History studies. Students performed for the school today and later shared a special performance for parents. The afternoon was filled with dancing, singing, laughter, and lots of pioneer spirit. What a fun and creative way to bring Utah history to life!

Our 4th graders had an amazing adventure at the Oak Hills Mountain Man Rendezvous! Students brought Utah history to life through hands-on experiences like trapping, fishing, horseback riding, candle dipping, and visiting chickens, cows, and lambs. It was a funfilled day of learning, exploring, and stepping back in time. We love seeing our students learn history through exciting real-life experiences!

Oak Hills was represented so well by our amazing students at the District Decathlon! 🎉

Students first had to qualify at the school level to earn the opportunity to compete. We are so proud of all of their hard work and dedication!

👏 Our 4th grade team did an outstanding job, had lots of fun, and represented Oak Hills proudly!
