Today, our Oak Hills community came together to honor and celebrate our veterans. We were privileged to welcome Daniel Gwynn, a parent of Oak Hills students and an active member of the United States Air Force, who spoke to our students about the different branches of the military and shared fascinating stories from his service—including what it’s like to fly jets! ✈️
Students from every grade shared heartfelt presentations about what freedom means to them and lifted their voices in song, performing the Military Branches Tribute Song and Thank You, Soldier. 🎶
Following the assembly, veterans and their families were treated to a delicious brunch in their honor.
