The aroma of freshly baked doughnuts and the sound of laughter filled the air as dads, grandpas, uncles, and other special “dudes” gathered with their students for the annual Dudes and Doughnuts event. Families came together to enjoy a morning of connection, community, and a shared love of reading at the Scholastic Book Fair.
Principal Palmer kicked off the event by reading favorite stories that had both students and their guests smiling and listening closely. After storytime, families browsed the book fair together, picking out new adventures to take home and share.
The event was more than just books and breakfast—it was about making memories. The smiles, stories, and sprinkles reminded everyone that reading is even sweeter when shared with the people you love. Thank you to Oak Hills PTA for sponsoring this event.
