One of the greatest benefits in working in this area is seeing students progress and succeed in learning. One of the key success factors in learning is understanding rules and the consequences that occur when a child follows or disregards the rules. Below are the rules, rewards and consequences we will use in our classroom.
Mrs. Carrillo's Class Expectations
Use kind words
Be responsible for yourself
Raise hand when you have a question
Keep hands, feet and objects in your own space.
Reward for following the rules is earning points to spin for a reward. Rewards may be school supplies, small treats or the treasure box which will have a variety of things. Please let me know of any food concerns.
Consequences for not following the rules are contacting parents and/or meeting with the principal.
My overall goal is to help students achieve success. To do this requires a partnership between me, the student, the parent, the classroom teacher and other school personnel. Your input as the parent is important to me. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I can return or take calls before or after school. The school phone number is 402-1650. You can also send a note to me with your student. Thank you for your support- I look forward to working with you and your child!
